S'up homies? Steve, great site. This site along with FlashPro tuning is raising the bar for forums. It is refreshing to have a good, intellectual site that focuses on things technical and is willing to help people out. I am so fed up with childish bickering and stupid noob questions. This place is a great resource for people new to tuning. I will be sending people here who need a great tune. BTW, your prices are very reasonable.

Hey.

A civinfo.com member joining. Driving Euro Type R FN2.

One question how come I can only edit US or Canada under "Billing information"? I live in Europe and I see other FN2 users have used E-tunez services.

Thanks for brining this to our attention, we are working on it as we speak, previously we did not ask for country information, but last night we added some new upgrades and are trying to get them working properly.

Thanks for your patience, Smile

Hi everyone, new member here.

Ordered my tune yesterday, hoping to get started soon with whoever and tune out some of the knock I've been seeing in my logs. Hopefully the car will smooth out as well during my daily commute.

I actually drive a CT-E Supercharged Acura CSX Type-S. I think it might be the first one you guys tune!

Since we're on the topic of bugs, the shopping cart checkout has a bug where it will keep the items in the checkout even after payment. Just thought I would let you guys know.

Whats up BV1? Stumbled accros this site.   I did the Cobb Beta with you.  Currently running the Cobb v1.05c.  Feels like i lot a little torque but feels stronger up top.  Thinkin About getting a tune but not sure if i need one.

The Cobb 1.05c maps are a good basemap, many issues have been sorted and they work well, but as with all basemaps they offer a good starting point but not necessarily a good ending point, so there is room for improvement. There is no reason to lose low end on a tune, but gain high end, its not like a header or other physical modification, its software so there doesn't need to be any trade offs. We recently tuned a 1.05c map for a user in the Redline time attack series.

That review is here: http://www.8thcivic.com/forums/e-tunez/214914-pows-etunez-review.html . Hope that helps,

Thanks,

Steve

Hey everyone......

S2000 guy here and was the beta working with Steve using the FlashPro.  Wanted to thank Steve for all his hard work and the excellent results on the tune!  I still am amazed in how much Honda left on the table, and how much Steve was able to improve the tune.  Drivability, smoothness, response, vtec transition, and mileage are all much improved.  Anyone considering a tune, my review is on the Reviews page.

Dan......Thanks for the sticker, and I'll get a pic soon and post it up.

Thanks guys!!!

Just got dyno'd today.......links to results:

Hey Dan its not running so good, I mean its running ok but I was thinking of paying the 199.99 to get it tunned again. I still have that cold starting issue when it really cold out the RPM just up and down for a little and then stops. I can here some pinging in 4th gear getting on the highway at light throttle. Car still smokes alot under boost, and hast that hesitataion under light throttle. It seems to have alot of power but all those things are a consern to me.

What do you think is this stuff I will just have to deal with or is this stuff that can be worked out ?

Wish you could drive my car so you can feel and see what it does Smile

Hello everyone,

If anyone is considering having a tune done by these guys, don't think twice about it-just do it. After uploading a base map to my car, it ran faster, but definitely wasn't smooth and needed some work. Steve has been working on my tune for the last few weeks and the difference is big. If you don't take that extra step and have it done, you will doing yourself and your ride a disservice. A tune will allow for improvements in all parameters: mileage, safety, power. I am pleased with the purchase and highly recommend e-tunez to anyone interested!

Just made a new account waiting for FlashPro to come in the mail today. Then thinking abotu doing some driving to get some logs. I really think it would help my car to get it tuned. I just put on AEM CAI Vibrant RH w/ HFC and Vibrant gen2 exhaust last week.

Any advice for when i get Flashpro in what to do? obviously hook it up etc.. but anything specific?
